Badals are not get involved, Giani Harpreet Singh and Longowal should clarify the truth on Ex-DGP: Peer Mohmmad
Chandigarh May 9, 2020: ( ) Punjab Police has registered a case against its former chief DGP Sumedh Singh Saini and eight other police officials in a 29-year-old case of abduction of the son of then IAS officer. In this context, Saini's anticipatory bail application is being pursued by a father and son duo who are disciples of SAD (Badal), which is an injustice with Sikh community.
In a press communique issued here from head office, SAD (Taksali) general secretary and Spokesperson Karnail Singh Peer Mohmmad on Saturday slams the Badal family as well as SGPC for giving wholeheartedly support to the EX-DGP, Sumedh Singh Saini, who is convicted in the abduction case. "Ex-DGP Sumedh Singh Saini and eight others have been named at Mohali's Mataur police station on charges of kidnapping Balwant Singh Multani in a 29-year-old case and thereon, Chairman of the Sikh Gurdwara Judicial Commission Satnam Singh Kler and his son Arshdeep Singh Kler appeared in a Mohali court on Friday as a legal counsel for EX-DGP Sumedh Saini which has tampered with the sentiments of the Sikhs", Peer Mohmmad alleged.
"It is pertinent to mention over here that Satnam Singh Kler has enjoyed various positions in the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandak Committee (SGPC) on the benevolent of the Badal family and

"Saini's case was being persuaded by these two father-son duo at the behest of the Badal family but later it was decided not to appear the case in view of the growing anger and wrath among the Sikh community. It is quite evident that the Badal family has been harming the Sikh community over and over",he added.
"Referring to the Bargari and Behbal Kalan firing incidents, at the behest of the Badal family, the then DGP Sumedh Saini had ordered his police team and shot dead innocent 'Guru ke Sikh' who were peacefully protesting for desecration of the Holy Book (Guru Granth Sahib). Even today the Badal family is full backing to Sumedh Saini which shows that Sikhs are being mistreated once more,"Peer Mohammad alleged in a press release.
"Karnail Singh Peer Mohmmad has asked Giani Harpreet Singh, Acting Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib and Gobind Singh Longowal, Chief of the SGPC to express their views on the EX-DGP, Saini's issue which is linked to Sikh sentiments so that Sikhs around the world can be assured that the Badals has no interference in the Shiromani Committee".
